JAMMU: To promote the Dogri culture of Jammu and Kashmir, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in association with ARJ Production, Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education launched Dogri devotional audio songs album ‘Raja Mandlik’ written, produced and directed by Dr. M.L Dogra, renowned folk theatre Director at open air Theater Durga Bhawan Jammu.
The songs sung by renowned Singer Suraj Singh ,Surinder Manahs ,M.C Kotwal, Rajeev Salotra, Zulekha Farid, Neelam Gandotra, Sapna Gupta, Kuldeep Raj , Kamli Devi and the music of which has been composed by Kartar Chand, Suraj Singh, Surinder Manahs. The album was recorded at Maa Vaishno Devi Production House Jammu.
In addition to this, website of BLSKS was launched by the Chief Guest, Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister in presence of SSP Mohan Lal, Deputy Director Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur and Raj Kumar Gupta, J&K Go-Raksha Samiti President, J&K and Baba Ratan Lal.
The renowned programe Music Director , Writer of the J&K state Yash Pal Yash conducted the proceedings.
Earlier, in welcoming address of V.K Magotra, Managing Director BLSKS said Sansthan is promoting the tradition and culture of Jammu and Kashmir in coordination with various departments.
Magotra also said Devotional Songs (Karkan and Bhajans) has been conceived and written on the basis of, the Story of Raja Mandlik and Baba Kaliveer.
