NOWSHERA: 75 Years of India’s Independence Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrated with great zeal at Nowshera on Thursday. A Foot march was organised which started from ADC office Nowshera to GHSS Nowshera. Sukhdev Singh Samyal ADC Nowshera and Amit Verma ASP Nowshera flagged off foot march. Programme was conducted at GHSS Nowshera , during march students were chanting/reciting Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Aazad Hindustan Zindabad and Freedom Fighter Amar Rahain. Speaking on the occasion Sukhdev Singh Samyal said Independence was achieved after a hard struggle by our freedom fighter. He asked the youth to possess the sense of Nationality and be a warrior at the time of need. Amit Verma ASP Nowshera lauded the role of Department of Youth Services and Sports for organising such a wonderful programme which guide the youth for a better future. Prominent who were presented on the occasion included Raju Samyal Tehsildar Nowshera, Vijay Sharma Tehsildar Quila Dharal, Narinder Sharma Chairman municipal committee Nowshera, Anil Gujral Principal GHSS Nowshera, Gulzar Ahmed ZPEO Nowshera and Rakesh Gupta ZPEO Dandesar. Rakesh Choudhary PEM has conducted the proceedings. Programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Gulzar Ahmed ZPEO Nowshera.
