KATHUA: With an objective to improve and safeguard the interest of faculty of GMC Kathua, Medical Teacher Association (MTA) GMC Kathua has been constituted consisting of all Faculty members.
The association aim to work continuously to improve the academics and work culture of all the department of GMC Kathua and will ensure that every possible step be taken to improve the patient care and will work in cooperation with Hospital Authorities and Administration.
Dr Raj Rishi, Professor and HoD of Surgery has been elected as President, Dr Anil Mehta, Professor and HoD, Gynaecology and Obstetrics as Vice President, Dr Yangchen Dolma, Assistant Professor and I/c HOD Department of Community Medicine as General Secretary, Dr Ravinder Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Surgery as Joint Secretary, Dr Rajesh Angral Associate Professor, Department of Anaesthesia as Treasurer and Dr Vineeta Sawhney, Professor and HoD, Department of Pharmacology as Spokesperson.
All members of the association have been elected unopposed. All members emphasized that they will work for the welfare of the faculty of the institution and promotion of quality medical education and health care in the hospital.
