STATE TIMES NEWS KHOUR: Govt. Degree College Khour organised patriotic self composed Hindi poetry recitation competition in the college under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav to commemorate 75 Years of Independence. The students participated in the competition with zeal and enthusiasm. Bharti Devi of B.A. Semester 4th got the first prize while Meenakshi Devi and Shivani Bhagat of B.A. Semester 4th bagged the 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. Dr. Seema Sudan Associate Professor of Hindi conducted the programme. The performance of the students was adjudicated by Sh. Manu Verma, Local Poet and Social activist, Dr. Suraj Parkash (HOD Urdu) and Dr. Rajesh Manhas(HOD Dogri). The programme was organized under the patronage of Prof. Hans Raj Principal of the College by observing all SOPs related to Covid-19 pandemic. The faculty members’ alongwith students of the college were present on the occasion. Principal of the college congratulated the participants for their participation in the event and also appreciated the efforts of the organizing team.
