STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: Newly constructed modern gate at main entrance of Barrian Mohalla Ward No.1 was dedicated to residents by the councilor Priti Khajuria. Priti raised entrance gate at the border of ward No.1 and 5 which was inaugurated by Geeta Sharma, wife of late Dr Dharam Vir Sharma. Particular gate was dedicated to residents to pay true tribute to Dr. Dharam Vir Sharma who was a very famous doctor not only in district but outside also. While speaking on the occasion, Priti told Dr Dharma devoted his full life for the welfare and treatment of the society in general and in particular for economically backward strata of the society. Priti assured that she will leave no stone unturned for the beatification, development and cleanliness not only of her ward but for whole of city. Large number of citizens and locals from all sections of society irrespective of caste, creed, religion and political affiliation were present and appreciated the initiative of Municipal council of Udhampur in particular of Councillor Priti for her dynamic leadership. Sunil Sharma also expressed his gratitude on the behalf of whole family to Ashwani Khajuria Senior Congress leader. Yet another similar kind of gate was constructed by Councilor Ward No.1 Priti Khajuria to pay tributes to late Chuni Lal Khajuria, former MLC. Gate was dedicated to local residents, after being formally inaugurated by Vijay Kumar and Ashwani Khajuria.
