STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Fencing Association of India (FAI) has given extension to the Adhoc Committee of the J&K Amateur Fencing Association (AKAFA) till permanent body is selected. The extension has been granted considering the smooth conduct of various domestic activities and participation in the National level activities. General secretary FAI, Rajeev Mehta on behalf of the entire team at the National level wishes the adhoc committee success in their future endeavours. Further, the FAI congratulated the Adhoc Committee led by convenor, Rashid Ahmed and other members for ensuring participation of the J&K teams in the Junior, Senior and Sub-Junior Nationals at different venues. “The FAI has also included two new members in the Committee. They are Supriya Chouhan (advocate and former National player) and Harpreet Singh, a representative from FAI,” informed convenor of adhoc committee of JKAFA, Rashid Ahmed.
