As my house is situated adjacent to Bus stand in Basohli, my grand-children often witness arrival and departure of buses daily. Last day, one of my grand children came running to me and asked why a particular conductor of some other bus-service was loudly calling Jammu, Jammu, Jammu instead his previous call for some other station. I told him that the conductor might have either changed the Bus or previous one might have lost its road worthiness. My grandson expressed apprehension about giving way of bus-tyres under weight of passengers sitting in bus. Exactly, same type of scenario has been created under the narrative of ‘Save Jammu expedition’. Everyone from the UT is at his wits’ end as to what has happened overnight to Jammu that tears of love and sympathy for Jammu has suddenly welled out in eyes of those leaders from Jammu,
4Who had never been friends and sympathizers of Jammu as they always worked on the dictates of their Kashmiri masters.
4Who always behaved like His masters voice in matters which always went against interests of Jammu and in favour of Kashmir.4Who always justified and endorsed genocide, ethnic cleansing and selective killing of minorities in valley in 1990 and in October 2021 when numerous Sikhs and Hindus were skinned and forced to leave their homes.
4Who justified large scale killing of security personnel in Pulwama, encouraged stone-pelters, condemned killing of Burhan Wani, hanging of Afzal Guru, supported Tukde-Tukde Gang overtly and covertly
4Who always supported harboring and financing the terrorist outfits by the separatist leaders.
4Who fought tooth and nail the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35 A, triple Talaq and against all those enactments aimed at solidarity of the nation.
4Who passed derogatory and insulting remarks against Prime Minister, President and Apex court of the country. Who always supported seditious acts of their mentors in NC and INC.
4Who stood by those Kashmiri leaders who always abused Military generals and demanded proof for surgical strike at Balakote.
4Who never hesitated in lowering morale of the Army Jawans and like others.
Not to talk of human beings, even birds desert those wet lands, for searching new one, when they suspect water level receding a threat to their survival. The reasons for abrupt U-turn taken by these leaders need not be sought from anywhere rather it is quite obvious because;
4These leaders from land of Jammu have not only become insignificant after Gupkar alliance but they are experiencing the soil of Jammu slipping from below their feet.
4The sources of foreign funding to the separatist leaders in the valley have been plugged from where they used to get their share.
4A sword of Damocles, in shape of ED, IT and NIA raids is hanging over the heads of their Masters in the valley under such circumstances they cannot axe upon their feet at any cost.
Swarm of Jammu-based political party leaders, harping the same song ‘Save Jammu, Save Jammu, are joining biggest party of the country, but unless they part with their ego, selfishness, prestige, covetousness, supremacy, they can’t succeed in their endeavor to save Jammu at all. Every person from Jammu region has hailed and lauded decision of the (never-uniting) leaders from Jammu but unless they give concerted fight they will not be successful in their goal. But I am bit skeptic about attitude of our Dogra leaders, can they come together ideologically, evolve some common strategy and shun their petty benefits for development of Jammu region? Their real face and intentions will be exposed the day the tickets and positions are distributed by party, they have joined before elections. I apprehend that there will be an in-flight in the party if interests of some of leaders, who don’t have their relations in party, are not taken care of. It is advice to the leaders from well-wishers of Jammu to come up to expectations of people and leave ‘Apni Apni Dafli Apna Apna Raag’.
