JAMMU: Expressing grave concern on rapid increasing unemployment among youth of the country, the ‘Desh Ki Baat Foundation’ (DKBF), an ideological organisation working for nation-building based on ideology of ‘positive nationalism’, suggested implementation of a ‘National Employment Policy’ for tackling the challenge in an effective way.
While speaking during an ‘Employment Dialogue’ held at Press Club of Jammu on Monday, DKBF Central Coordinator, Daud Hasan said that country is facing huge unemployment at present hour.
“A number of youth, even with higher qualifications, are wandering from place to place for work.
Not only in Government sector, but the condition in private sector is also miserable, thereby causing a number of hardships for people,” he said, adding at present hour, the country needs a National Employment Policy which can guarantee employment to all.
Adv Mohd Javed Khan, DKBF Regional Coordinator said that the foundation would launch a Signature Campaign in support of National Employment Policy.
Daud Hassan, Central Coordinator, informed that on December 20, 2021 a delegation of foundation would hand-over a draft of National Employment Policy to the District Magistrate in shape of memorandum, addressed to the Prime Minister. He sought suggestions from various social organizations, students and other youth in this regard.
Others present on the occasion included Shikhar Sharma, Mohammad Sardar Bhatti, Vikas Sharma, Zaheer Ahmad, M S Khan and Neelam Kohli.
