Engineering faculty of SMVDU among top 2 pc global scientists

Katra: Dr. Rakesh Jha, Associate Professor in Electronics and communication department, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra has been recognized in top 2 per cent global scientists as per Stanford University’s research database. He has been recognized in engineering category for his contributions in network and communications area. Undoubtedly, He has one of richest profile among the Indian researchers in the engineering field at such a young age and accordingly recognized in this global database based on publications, H-index and citations which are globally recognized in accomplished resources.
Dr. Rakesh Jha has more than 101 publications, More than 4101 citations and already guided 05 students in Ph.D. and 03 Scholars has submitted the thesis. Dr. Jha is alumni of NIT Surat and NIT Jalandhar and already conferred with many national and international awards and recognizations globally for his globally acclaimed research work especially at such a young age. He was one of the best faculty of SMVDU for his all-round skills until he had to leave the institution for new assignment.
Dr. Rakesh Jha worked as Associate Professor and Dean, Research and Development of SMVD University. He was also the Incharge of IoT-5G Lab where he carried out most of his widely acclaimed research. Presently, He is working as Associate Professor at IIITDM, Jabalpur (M.P).
Dr. Rakesh Jha gives credit to this rare achievement in the filed of engineering to the years he spent at SMVDU and in particular the former Vice-Chancellor of SMVDU Prof. Sanjeev Jain who has facilitated the creation of IoT-5G Lab seeing the demand of era and capabilities, research interest of Dr. Jha.
Most of his colleagues at SMVDU and IIIT have showered heaps of praise and compliments on Dr. Jha for his inclusion globally. This feat is a great achievement for a young university like SMVDU that too in rare area of Engineering. Dr. Jha is thankful to present Vice-Chancellor of SMVDU and Registrar Mr. Nagendra Singh Jamwal, JKAS for their support in his research works. He also expressed his gratefulness to Director IIITDM Jabalpur for all the compliments showered at his present posting. Dr. Rakesh Jha expressed his sincere thanks to Maa Vaishno Devi for all the credits and accomplishments. He expressed more desire for even better deliverability for the service of human kind and human safety in near future through his research.
