A bill to prohibit all private cryptocurrencies in India, with certain exceptions to promote the underlying technology and its uses are among 26 bills to be introduced in the upcoming winter session of Parliament. Titled “The Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021”, it is among the list of new bills for introduction, consideration and passing.
