Jammu: Coming down heavily on NC Patron Dr Farooq Abdullah for arriving at Parliament House with erstwhile State flag on his car’s bonnet, BJP J&K UT Vice President Yudhvir Sethi said that such publicity stunts by the former Chief Minister would not help in restoring special status of the J&K as the same exposed the former chief minister’s separatist mentality and tendency to challenge the mood of the country.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the senior BJP leader said that those dreaming about restoration of Article 370 should keep this in mind that much water has flown down the bridge and under no circumstances the lopsided Article of the Constitution will be restored. He said that NC being the oldest dynastic party of J&K is showing much tumult against the end of Article 370, making it clear that dynasts of this party have misused this temporary provision of Constitution to the hilt and after its nullification are facing the heat as their shop has been shut to loot the resources of the region without answering to anyone. He said that PM Narendra Modi has taken this stance of abrogating Article 370 only to teach a lesson of life to dynastic rulers of the Valley including NC and PDP leaders who exploited common man in the last over 70 years in turns as they were having tacit support of each other which became crystal clear after the formation of PAGD. The old saying ‘Chor Chor Musere Bhai’ best suits NC and PDP dynasts because they showed to the people as if they are enemy number one but in reality were hand in glove, which became clear after formation of PAGD.
He said that come what may the J&K will never be beleaguered again under the contentious Article 370 as BJP government has satiated the aspirations of over 130 crore people of the country by freeing the J&K from the clutches of this unjust provision of Constitution.
