STATE TIMES NEWS HIRANAGAR: NSS / Red Ribbon Club of Govt. GLDM Degree College Hiranagar on Wednesday organised Intera-Collegiate Poster Making Competition on World AIDS Day under the Aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotasav” @ 75 with the collaboration of AIDS Control Society of Jammu and Kashmir (UT). In this Competition a large number of NSS Volunteers and NCC Cadets participated actively and showcased their poster Making Skill. The main motto of the event was to spread awareness about AIDS among the students and young Generation. Prof. Sujat Khan, Incharge Principal and chief Guest of the occasion visited the spot alongwith staff members and appreciated the Poster Making Skills of the participants and encurged them to be particular in such Social activities. In this competition Vishali Manash stood first position, Rawani Jasrotia got 2nd and 3rd position shared by Komal and Manjeet Kumar. Prof. Neha Bhagat, Prof. Ritika and Prof. Meena Devi were jury members of the event. The whole Programme was organised and supervised by Prof. Rakesh Sharma, NSS Programme Officer and Nodal Officer “Red Ribbon Club” Other staff members Prof. Gurdyal, Prof. Parveen Sharma, Prof. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Sasan, Dr. Arun Kumar, Dr. Jyoti Rani, Prof. Kiran Thapa, prof. Chinky Sangral and Dr. Preeti Verma also witnessed the event.
