REASI: In order to carry forward the movement for conceding the issues of the employees of JKUT, JK UT Employees United Front (JKUTEUF) organised meeting at Reasi under the leadership of its UT Chairman Bhupinder Singh and attended by large number of Employees of District Reasi.
While Speaking on the occasion Bhupinder Singh appealed LG to resolve three main demands of Employees includes regularization policy for daily wagers, Home Guards, NYCs, REK, REZ, MGNREGA Employees, NHM employees, SFC employees casual labourers , Anganwani Workers and other temporary employees; restoration of old Pension Scheme in favour of Employees of UT J&K appointed after January 1, 2010 and implementation of Pay Grade in favour of Employees of UT J&K at par with other UTs.
All the leaders of the JK UT Employees United Front appealed to the Central Government and the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to resolve these three main demands of employees within short span of time, otherwise employees would be forced to take to the streets. Meanwhile the front has asked the sub committees of the government to consider the demands of the employees at an earliest.
The Front has decided to launch indefinite strike shortly if the demands are not conceded by the UT Government. The meeting was attended by President Asif Ali Bhat, Sr Vice President kamla Sharma , General Secretary Davinder Singh, Cashier Kuldeep Chand, Madhan Kumar, Sajad Malik, Santosh Kumari, Rashpaul Singh, Rohit Kumar, Varinder and Pranav.
