JAMMU: Christmas, the cheerful and pious festival that marks the birth of Lord Jesus Christ, was celebrated with fun, frolic and gaiety at JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi.
The magnificently decorated homes of Jakiians were indeed a visual treat and the tiny tots were dressed as Santas, fairies, Christmas trees and stars which added to the merriment.
The overwhelming participation of the Jakiians in the virtual skit on Jesus Birth showcased their creativity and their exuberance while their dance Performance to the foot tapping music added to the warmth and cheer of festival. Carols were also sung by Jakiians.
The highlight of the celebration was the performance of Santa Claus.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah wished Happy Christmas to one and all and said, “May the Christmas festival sparkle your life with moments of love, laughter and happiness and may the year ahead be full of contentment and joy for all.”
She further lauded the student’s performances and laid emphasis on the true essence of Christmas– sharing joy and love with all around. Welcome the New Year with love, happiness and gratitude.”
