The incidents of mob lynching and mob violence are unacceptable and shameful and our heads hang in shame on such happenings. It is against the humanity and as such is against man and God and this should not happen in the civilized society. The dastardly act of mob lynching and mob violence are alien to our society but unfortunately in present world the unfortunate acts of mob lynching take place and it is a matter of shame for all of us. The fact is that the mob lynching has no place in our society and as such these inhuman acts should not happen. It is very disturbing that the mob violence and mob lynching takes place in different places of the country. In present times, the incidents of mob lynching are happening in Indian society and such inhuman acts are cowardly and are deplorable and condemnable. No amount of condemnation is big for such happenings of mob lynching. It is in the fitness of things to mention here that the mob violence and mob lynching cannot be justified on any reason whatsoever. Therefore there can be no justification for the barbaric acts of mob lynching. It is very sad and unfortunate that sometimes mob lynching is justified on the flimsy grounds of cow protection and cow vigilantism but the fact is that mob lynching cannot be justified on any ground and so mob violence should not be allowed to take place. There is increase in the inhuman act of mob lynching and mob violence with the each passing day and it is a very serious matter and sincere efforts should be made to put a halt to such dastardly acts for the good of the society. No one should be allowed to take the law into its hands and law should followed to operate in any situation and eventuality and people should fallow the laws of the land and not indulge in mob violence and mob lynching which is against the laws and the country as well as morality. Therefore common man should rise against the savage acts of mob lynching and work to put an end to the culture of mob violence which leads to the sadistic killing of the innocent men young and old without any distinction. Mob lynching has no place in our democracy and liberal and progressive society. We are reverting back to the stone-age by resorting to the barbaric acts of mob violence and mob lynching. Mob lynching is an abominable act and it brings disrepute to our society and to democracy and should in no circumstance be allowed and justified. Even for the criminal acts and sacrilegious acts there is no justification for mob lynching as those involved in such acts can be prosecuted as per the law of the land and no one should resort to the savage and anti-human and anti-religious act of mob lynching. The democracy and the liberal and free society should not be taken as a license to beat people to death and thus shame the country. In the earlier days the word lynching was unheard in our country but today we hear about the savage acts of mob violence and mob lynching. The word mob lynching and its happening brings shivers down ones spine. Some time earlier a Sadhu was done to death by the unruly mob in Palghar Maharashtra and he pleaded for his life but all his pleadings and requests fell on the deaf ears and the savages beat him to death. This case of mob lynching attracted wider attention of the print and electronic media. It is a sad state of affairs that sometimes victims are beaten to death on the flimsy grounds of theft and mere suspicion but this should not happen in our society and liberal democracy. Earlier during the farmers’ agitation a youth was beaten to death by the unruly mob and his body was kept hanging with the stare to create fear psychosis in the minds of the onlookers so that no one will dare to resist the savage act of mob lynching.
Mob killings deserve strongest condemnation by all right thinking people and such killings should be put to end for the wellbeing of the society and surviving democracy. Sometime earlier another Sadhu was beaten to death in Rajasthan by the unruly mob for flimsy grounds and it would have been better that Sadhu should have been handed to the police than taking the law into own hands. There are increasing incidents of mob lynching taking place in different places of the country on one pretext or the other but one thing should be realized that there is no place for the mob violence in our plural democracy and thus mob lynching should not be resorted to under any circumstance whatsoever and all cases of criminal nature and sacrilegious nature should be dealt with under law and no mob lynching should take place in the country and give bad name to our democracy.
Mob lynching is not a utopian act but it happens in our volatile society and the efforts should be made to put an end to mob violence in the interest of the country.
Thus for the flourishing of our secular and plural democracy the mob violence and the mob lynching should be halted and such savage and inhuman acts should not be allowed to take place in the country. There is urgent need to halt the savage acts of mob lynching for the good of the society and the country.
In this connection it is important to identify those involved in the acts of mob lynching and arrest them and prosecute them as well as award them severe punishment quickly so that the fear of the law will loom large and no one dares to indulge in mob lynching any more.
Therefore before the mob lynching will devour more innocent lives, the powers should take concrete steps to arrest the growing trend of mob lynching so that our country will be freed from the problem of mob lynching.
There is urgent need to create the fear of law in the minds of the people so that they will desist from indulging in the mob violence and lynching otherwise the innocent people will continue to fall prey to the demon of mob lynching.
In brief, it can be said that mob lynching should not be resorted to in the country under any pretext and it is unacceptable in the present day modern society.
