PM was exposed to life threat close to Pak border

Punjab HM, CS, DGP be arrested, sacked, attempt to murder case be registered against them: Chugh

STATE TIMES NEWS

BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today demanded sacking of Punjab Home Minister  Sukhjinder Randhawa, Chief Secretary Anirudh Tiwari and DGP S Chattopadhyaya should be arrested for posing a threat to the life of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Punjab and said that an attempt to murder case be registered against them for gross negligence in maintaining PM’s security

In a statement, Chugh said the Congress government in Punjab flagrantly violated the provisions of the Blue Book which laid down rules for the PM’s security. He said it was the complete responsibility of the Punjab government and it had failed criminally to perform its duty.

Chugh said it was a matter of grave concern and shame that the Punjab government allowed it to happen just 15 km away from the Indo-Pak border. Was there a plot between Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and his bosom friend Navjot Sidhu to trap the Indian Prime Minister close to the international border? Chugh asked.

He said it was a conspiracy of the Congress government to leak the prime minister’s road route to protestors. Chugh said it was shameful that in some cases protestors were escorted and directed by officials to reach the flyover where the prime minister’s cavalcade was stuck.

Chugh said in spite of the fact that ADGP Naresh Arora had given a report of a possible disturbance on the road route of the prime minister, no action was taken to ensure PM’s safety.

“It is a black day for Punjab where the brave police force has been converted into a puppet force by the Congress government”, he said.
