STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: Achieving a major feat, students of Government Higher Secondary School, Budhi Kathua have qualified for participation in the National Youth Festival being held in Pondicherry on January 12, 2022. The students of Government Higher Secondary School, Budhi, Kathua were selected in the Music category for their excellent performance in the UT Level Youth Festival held in Jammu. The National Youth Festival is celebrated every year on a national level and students from different parts of the country take part in it. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of youth icon ‘Swami Vivekananda’ and organised by ‘Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports’ Government of India in collaboration with one of the state governments. This time Pondicherry got the opportunity to host the national. On this achievement, Chief Education Officer Prakash Lal Thapa has congratulated the whole team. He also motivated and blessed them for future performances.
