Dear Editor, Through the columns of your esteemed paper, we residents of lane No 16 at Friends Colony in Ward- 65 at Patoli Brahmana want to highlight our genuine issue to get our lane repaired. Besides water logging, there are huge and deep pit holes, which not only create trouble to children and elders while crossing but also create healthy hazards for all because of water logging. It makes the lane accident prone also as large number of adjoining locality residents cross this lane on two-wheelers. This lane has three to four electric poles but not even a single streetlight has been installed. This is the only lane in the locality which has remained unattended by concerned authorities. Every time we are told about the shortage of funds. The matter is brought into the notice of concerned authorizes number of times but only assurances are being given. Last year, we were assured that the work will be done in two weeks only whereas a complete full year has passed and not even a single pit-hole has been repaired and 16 feet wide lane is totally unattended.
