The number of children under the age of 10 contracting Covid-19 has increased sharply this month with just more than 12,800 cases reported so far compared to 376 cases in the whole of December. At 332, it was even lower in November. The last time monthly cases in this category were more than 10,000 was in May last year, during which more than 20,000 cases were recorded.
