STATE TIMES NEWS Reasi: In order to pay homage to the Martyrs and Father of the Nation, who laid down his life for the nation, District Police Reasi on Sunday observed two minutes silence in all the police units across the district. Main function of the district was organized at District Police Lines Reasi in which Shailender Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi along with other officers and officials of district police observed two minutes silence while paying tributes to the Martyrs of the Country. Shailender recounted the sacrifices made by the Martyrs for the motherland while fighting for the nation during freedom struggle of the country. Singh expressed that martyrs gave their present for future of country-men and will be remembered always for their contributions. For remembering Gandhi, functions were also organized at all Police Stations and Police Posts of Reasi where SDPOs, SHOs along with Jawans paid rich tributes.
