SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday recorded 458 new Covid cases — 252 from Jammu division and 206 from the Valley, thus taking the total number of positive cases in the Union Territory to 450331.
Also, three Covid deaths have been reported; two from Jammu division and one from the Valley.
Moreover, 1624 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 574from Jammu Division and1050 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin, out of 450331 positive cases, 6255are Active Positive (2594in Jammu Division and 3661in Kashmir Division), 439332 have recovered and 4744 have died; 2322 in Jammu division and 2422in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 22282835 test results available, 450331 samples have tested positive and 21832504 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 71,789 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Till date 5953659 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29839persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 6255 in isolation and 441312 in home surveillance. Besides, 5471509 persons have completed their surveillance period.
