KALAKOT: National Conference (NC) has flayed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its failure to provide basic amenities to the people of far flung areas of Kalakot constituency.
After his visit to these areas, NC leader Thakur Yashu Vardhan Singh, Constituency Incharge NC Kalakot, who is also NC Zonal Secretary Peer Panjal Zone and Incharge District Rajouri, said that BJP which claims to be champion of the people has in fact miserably failed to provide basic amenities to the common people on ground especially to those living in far flung and remote areas.
It is pertinent to mention here that the NC leader visited the remote and far flung areas including Panchayats Barmandal and Broh to take stock of the problems being faced by the people on ground.
While welcoming him, the people apprised the NC leader about their pressing issues related to water, irrigation, road, electricity and upgradation of school. After listening to the people’s woes quite patiently, he informed them that so far as their drinking water problem is concerned, Member District Development Council (DDC) Kalakot, Anita Thakur is also working on the plan to address the water crisis in the area. He added that she would ensure that water crisis in the area is addressed by implementing the Jal Jeevan Mission at the earliest. He asserted that in any case the issue of water crisis will get completely resolved within a year.
Others accompanying the NC leader during his visit to the far flung areas were Ashok Sharma Office Sect, Er Waqar Mir YNC Kalakote, Dewaker Singh, Master Gulam, Sheru, Mirza Jangbaaz, Mirza Bashir and Mirza Ayoub, Sarpanch Broh.
