JAMMU: Splendid performance of Divyang Blue team helped to beat Divyang Red by three wickets and leveled the five-Matches T-20 Series by 2-2.
The match was played at Army Ground Daskal, here on Friday.
The J&K Divyang Red team won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, Divyang Red team scored 133 run for the loss of nine wickets in stipulated 20 overs in which shanty was the top scorer with 26 runs, while Rahul Sharma made 24 and Nikhil Sharma added 13 runs to the total.
For bowling side, Shah Aziz and Mantu Sharma grabbed three wickets each while Bittu got two wickets and Tarsem Lal took one wicket.
In reply, Divyang Blue team easily chased the target by losing seven wickets in the process in 19.4 overs and registered three wickets win.
Asha Nand played a fine inning of 33 runs followed by Deepak Sharma, who contributed 22 runs while Tarsem Lal and Shah Aziz made 17 and 14 runs respectively.
For bowling side, Rahul Sharma and Chahal bagged two wickets each while Ajeet, Nikhil and Tarsem Dogra took one wicket each .
Asha Nand was declared as Man of the Match for his splendid performance. Rajeev Narayan and Akhil Sharma were Umpires, while Dev Bhagel acted as scorer.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Five Matches T-20 Series is being organized by Divyang Cricket Control Board of India under the supervision of Sham Singh Langeh (Chairman J&K Divyang Cricket Association).
