RAMBAN: As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department on Sunday administered covid vaccine doses to 437 persons, including 177 children in the 15-17 years and 250 in 12-14 age group in the district.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol, the Enforcement teams fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 20,900 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs.99,48,050. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department has collected 1500 samples including 490 RT-PCR and 1010 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 437 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
