HIRANAGAR A quiz on Cyber crime was organized on Monday under the aegis of cyber Jagrookta divas- an Initiative by Govt. Of India to aware the masses about the different aspects related to Cyber Crime, by IQAC and department of Computer Applications, GLDM Degree College Hiranagar.
Prof. Parveen Sharma organizing Secretary of the quiz in detail deliberated o the rules of Quiz and in his address he said that these kind of activities regarding the Cyber Crime should be organise on routine basis through which students and other users of IT should get awarded about the new cyber threats and use security measures while making transactions online.
A total of30 students participated in the quiz, out of which 8 students qualify. Vishali manash and sanjeev kumar got Ist position, priya Sharma got second and shekar kumar got 3rd position.
Prof. Sujat Khan, convenor of the quiz appreciated the participants the efforts of Computer department in organising such kind of activities. Prof. Parveen Sharma, organizing Secretary congratulated the position holders. Priyanka Sharma and Mahima Sharma coordinated the whole event.
