Eight doctors repatriated, 7 deputed to Ladakh UT

JAMMU: The government on Thursday ordered the repatriation of the eight doctors from the Union Territory of Ladakh to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and seven deputed to Union Territory of Ladakh.

As per order the eight doctors repatriated from the Union Territory of Ladakh include Dr Sheikh Rayees Jeelani (Medical Officer), Dr Sameena Khan (Dental Surgeon), Dr Khalid Khursheed (Medical Officer), Dr Syed Zameer Hussain (Medical Officer), Dr Bilal Ahmad Sheikh (Medical Officer), Dr Ali Jan (Medical Officer), Dr Salman Farooq Wani (Medical Officer) and Dr Shah Ayaz Mudasir Yaqoob (Medical Officer).
“The aforesaid doctors shall report in the Health and Medical Education Department of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for further posting after relieving by the competent authority in the Union Territory of Ladakh,” reads the order.
Consequently, the seven doctors of the Jammu and Kashmir Health and Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service and Jammu and Kashmir Indian System of Medicines (Gazetted) Service have been deputed to the Union Territory of Ladakh for further posting.
They include Dr Rinchan Angmo, Dr Nawang Stanzin, Dr Thinless Gyalpo, Dr Mohd Hussain Wazir, Dr Syed Iftikar Hussain, Dr Rubia Bano and Dr Syed Abid Nabi (all medical officers). They shall be deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect and shall report in the General Administration Department, Union Territory of Ladakh for further postings.
