UDHAMPUR: While addressing a meeting of district office bearers as well as elected PRIs as well as former legislators, Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary, BJP lashed out at political parties who for their petty gains had played the politics of opportunism and shown garden paths to youth of JK.
He called upon the party workers to launch a crusade against such opportunist and ‘antinational forces’.
He further questioned that a political party which gave a controversial statement on Kashmir files and on the other day announced a comprehensive penetration programme in J&K. He said that this political party has given false promises to the people of Punjab and Delhi.
Ravinder Raina, President J&K BJP also addressed the party cadres and called for a massive penetration programme whereby the party workers as well as senior leaders will penetrate upto the farthest nooks and corners of Udhampur and aware the people about the benefits of centrally sponsored schemes.

CHANDIGARH: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Thursday said that Punjab under the AAP Government has become a paralysed state where law and order has completely collapsed and a new sense of fear has captured the people of the state. In a statement, Chugh expressing his shock at the killing of a soccer player in Tarn Taran today said that more than 20 persons have been killed in the state during the last 23 days of the AAP government.
It was so disgraceful on the part of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who also holds the charge of Home Department, that instead of focusing on governance in the state he was more worried about touring in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. It is complete Goonda Raj that has come to prevail in the state where nobody is feeling safe and secure, he said. Chugh said the Punjab Chief Minister is working more like a “Prachaar Mantri” going around in states where Assembly elections are scheduled later this year. He said the chief minister was accountable to the state of Punjab and its problems, but he is becoming more accountable to Arvind Kejriwal which demonstrates how miserably he has cheated the confidence of the people.
The way the schemes have transformed the developmental profile of the district of Udhampur is really enviable. India under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi is all set to achieve lofty heights.
