A Varanasi Court on Monday dismissed a plea of Anjuman Islamia Masjid committee challenging the maintainability of the suit filed by five Hindu women seeking worshipping rights in the Gyanvapi mosque compound. This means hearing will continue on the plea seeking permission to worship Shringar Gauri on the outer wall of the mosque and other deities in the complex. The next hearing will be on September 22.
