India on Saturday responded strongly to Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif’s statement on the Kashmir issue at the UN general assembly (UNGA). “A country that claims to seek peace with its neighbours would never sponsor cross-border terrorism,” Mijito Vinito, first secretary in the permanent mission of India to the UN, said in the right of reply.
