Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries are currently given the first LPG cylinder and stove free, but many supposedly cannot afford one after that. As on Monday, the market rate of an unsubsidised 14kg cylinder was Rs 1,056 in Jaipur. Around 67 lakh BPL families are expected to benefit from the Gehlot government’s move.
