Feeling marginalized in Punjab Congress after the February 2022 state assembly elections, former finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal on Wednesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In his letter to Rahul Gandhi, Manpreet mentioned about the factionalism in the party in Punjab and said that the action taken by party in the state disheartened him.
