An analysis of FIRs for violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the ongoing elections in India has revealed that candidates and their supporters have been involved in various illegal activities. These include bursting firecrackers, causing traffic jams, circulating abusive content on WhatsApp, distributing freebies, serving food to voters, and organizing liquor parties.
