Regional manager of the SBI T Raju complained to the police on Thursday that around Rs 4.5 crore worth gold was missing from the bank and suspected six employees of the bank to be behind the same. The issue came to light a week ago when a few people paid the loan amount and asked the bank officials to return their gold ornaments. But the officials are postponing the same by saying that an internal audit has been going on and gold ornaments would be handed over once it was completed.
