Expelled BJD MLA Prasanta Kumar Jagadev, who rammed an SUV into a largely BJP crowd, joined the saffron party after spending more than 4 months in jail. He got bail from the Supreme Court in July 2022. After joining the BJP, Jagadev said he can foresee a “double-engine” government and a developed India.
