The Supreme Court’s reversal of a 2018 ruling on a 1991 suit seeking the right to worship inside the Gyanvapi mosque-Kashi Vishwanath temple complex has caused irreversible damage to the Muslim side. The court also laid down guidelines for the exercise of its powers.
