Srinagar, March 12: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has appointed Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed, IAS, Administrative Secretary of the Health and Medical Education Department, as the acting Director of the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura.
This decision comes following the retirement of Prof. (Dr.) Parvez Koul, the former Director of SKIMS, and ex-officio Secretary to the Government.
