Srinagar, Nov 1: Security forces today apprehended a man during a joint naka check at Shaloora Crossing in Kupwara district.

The man identified as Tanveer Ahmad from Kralpora Kupwara was intercepted near a petrol pump, where one Chinese grenade and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession.
The operation was conducted jointly by Kupwara Police, 3 Naga Regiment of the Indian Army, and 98 Battalion CRPF.
An official said that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
