JAMMU, Nov 2: Thirty-five fresh dengue cases were reported across the Jammu and Kashmir taking the total number of infections this year to 2,775.
As many as 215 tests were conducted on November 1. Of the new cases, 22 are males and 13 females, including 5 children and 30 adults. Jammu reported highest 16 cases, raising its total to 1179. Kathua followed with 11 new cases, taking its cumulative tally to 753. Three cases each were reported from Rajouri and Ramban whereas 1 case each was reported from Poonch and Doda districts.
So far, 23,753 dengue tests have been conducted this year-slightly lower than that recorded during the same period in 2024, whereas the total infections remain significantly lower than last year’s 5020 cases.
Hospital data shows no new admissions today while as three patients are still under treatment in various hospitals.
