SAMBA, Nov 2: The Samba District Athletics Association conducted the Samba District Athletics Championships 2025 at Bawa Santokh Nath Stadium, Smailpur, featuring 150 athletes from across the district.
The event was inaugurated by Ex-Sarpanch Swarn Singh Charak, who, along with other dignitaries, presented certificates to winners and appreciated the athletes for their performance. Goutam Raj, General Secretary, AAA Samba, supervised the proceedings with a technical panel comprising Gurcharan Singh, Chandan Singh, Rakesh Singh, Nirmal Singh, Nitin Saini, Sahil Sharma and Narinder Chib.
In the U-20 category, winners included Jatin Singh (100m), Neel Kamal (Long Jump), and Ashfaq Choudhary (Shot Put). In U-16 and U-14 events, top performers were Mukund Katal, Shivanshu Manhas, Devansh Manhas, Sabhya Sunil, and Vasudev Sharma across 60m, Long Jump and Shot Put competitions.
