JAMMU: The government on Sunday promoted three JKPS officers to the grade of Superintendent of Police Selection Grade (II)- [Level 12 (78800-209200) of the Pay Matrix].
“In terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Police (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2024, notified vide SO 500 of 2024 dated October 10, 2024 and as recommended by the Selection Committee-I, sanction is accorded to the promotion of three officers in the Superintendent of Police Selection Grade (II) [Level 12 (78800-209200) of the Pay Matrix], with effect from the date(s) mentioned against each,” read an order issued by Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary, Home Department.
As per order, Mohd Yousuf (JKPS:2001) has been promoted notionally with effect from December 24, 2024 and regularly with immediate effect whereas Pardeep Singh (JKPS:2008) and Brijesh Kumar Sharma (JKPS: 2008) have been promoted with immediate effect
