JAMMU, Nov 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the promotion of three officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) to the grade to Superintendent of Police (SP) Selection Grade-II in level 12 of the pay matrix.
As per an order issued by the Home Department, 2001 batch JKPS officer Mohammad Yousuf, currently SSP Finger Prints Bureau, has been promoted notionally with effect from December 24, 2024, and regularly with immediate effect.
Two other JKPS officers of 2008 batch, Pardeep Singh, currently Additional SP Kishtwar, and Brijesh Kumar Sharma, presently serving as SP Jammu Rural, have been promoted with immediate effect.
