A chaat shop owner and his employee were arrested for allegedly murdering the owner’s estranged wife. The man confessed to strangling his wife with a rope and then enlisting his assistant to stage the scene as a suicide. The victim had filed for divorce, with the next hearing scheduled soon. Both accused are in police custody.
