Months after Dells’ $6.25bn ‘gift’, US Treasury sets new Trump Account paycheck rules

Under the new guidelines for Trump Accounts, both employers and employees can make contributions towards payrolls. Employers are permitted to add up to $2,500 annually without tax for dependent children, while employees can contribute pre-tax funds directly from their paychecks. In support of this initiative, Michael and Susan Dell committed $6.25 billion to boost child savings. The proposal is currently open for public feedback prior to its finalization.
