A 34-year-old Kazakhstan coach attached to the Indian cycling squad has been booked under the POCSO Act for allegedly raping a minor cyclist at the National Centre of Excellence in Patiala. Police have issued a lookout circular against Maxat Ayazbayev, seized his passport and formed two teams to trace him after he allegedly went untraceable following the complaint. The Cycling Federation of India has also suspended him, while raids are underway in Delhi and the NCR.
