Vehicle Factory Jabalpur is working alongside Heavy Vehicles Factory to overhaul Army tanks. The factory aims to develop indigenous designs for fixtures used in the tank overhaul process. Approximately 80 tanks are expected to be overhauled annually starting in April 2028. Training is ongoing for around 650 personnel as part of this project. The total estimated cost for the project is Rs 462 crore.
