Bharat Sisodia and his team moved a 100-year-old peepal tree after it was cut down in Ahmedabad. They found that part of the original root system was still alive and nurtured it. This work emphasized the need for ongoing maintenance and care after transplanting trees. While the tree began to show new growth, it still faced potential threats from development projects.
