JAMMU, Mar 25: In a breakthrough, Janipur Police Station, under the guidance of SDPO City West and SHO Janipur, here today arrested a drug peddler and seized heroin-like substance, weighing 7.25 gram from him.
The accused, identified as Yasir Mohd, son of Sharif Mohd, a resident of Upper Paloura, Gujjar Mohalla Janipur was apprehended while attempting to escape on his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02DE-1143 coming from Bantalab.
In this regard a case in FIR no. 45/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered and investigation started.
