STATE TIMES NEWS REASI: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) conducted webinar on “National Skills Development Mission” under PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana at COB Talwara. National Skills Development Mission was introduced by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to empower the young generation. The mission was mainly developed to ensure employment opportunities by providing training in skills development and enable them to become self-employed entrepreneurs. The main aim of the mission is to provide the country’s youth employment and strengthen them economically. In order to encourage the local youth to take up training which is industry, market relevant and builds them in skill development, the Indian Army conducted this webinar wherein local youth were informed about the benefits of various types of skill development programme available under this mission and job opportunities available for individuals empowered by such skill development mission. The youth were also encouraged to focus upon their aim and strive hard for better results. The Sarpanch and local population of Talwara expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for conducting webinar on National Skill Development Mission. Such positive engagement guides young minds to take the right path towards skill development, character building, contribute positively for development of society and cull the menace of unemployment from backward areas.
