AKHNOOR: Senior Journalist Media Club Akhnoor (SJMCA) on Friday started a plantation drive on Friday from Government Girls Middle School Akhnoor.
Plantation drive started under supervision of all members of SJMCA in which SHO Akhnoor Hilal Azhar was chief guest, while President of SJMCA Rajinder Sharma, Chairman Mohan Singh Jamwal, General Secretary Wanty Sharma, Vice President Raman Samotra, Kishor Kumar, Rajinder Gupta, Ajeet Singh Jamwal, Rakesh Sharma and others were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, SHO Hilal Azhar said that plants and plantation is the basic need of earth and human nature for fight with global warming and other types of virus.
President SJMCA Rajinder Sharma also appealed to the all people to planted the three plants per head for clean and green of the area and save the earth.
