JAMMU, Feb 13: On the occasion of National Women’s Day, FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Chapter hosted the 5th Edition of the Trailblazer Awards, here in Jammu.
The event was more significant as it honoured the strength and spirit of women who continue to lead and inspire.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of chief guest, Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma.
His presence reflected strong institutional support for recognizing and empowering women achievers.
The Trailblazer Awards 2026 recognized outstanding contribution across various domains.
In Public Service, the awardees were Babila Rakwal, Sunaina Sharma Mehta and Seerat Baji.
In the Forces category, Sarah Rizvi was awarded.
In the category for the Medical Fraternity, Dr Robina Mirza and Dr Ritu Mishra were awarded.
Receiving awards in the Education, Academic and Literature category were Dr Seema Malpotra and Vijaya Thakur.
In the Culture & Heritage category, Harvinder Kour was awarded.
Honoured in the Social Impact & Grassroot Leadership category were Neetu Dhar, Preeti Choudhary and Geetanjali Sharma.
In the Entrepreneurship, Media & Entertainment category, the award winners were Samreen Kaur, Urmi Sharmam Poorva Prabha and Saisha Gupta.
Representing the Hospitality category, Vasudha Prabhakar won the award.
Speaking on the occasion, Aarti Chowdhary, Chairperson, FICCI FLO JKL highlighted that celebrating these remarkable women on National Women’s Day made the event even more meaningful.
The Trailblazer Awards stand as a powerful reminder that true leaders not only succeed but also light the way for others. The evening concluded with a strong message of unity, inspiration and commitment to continue building a future where women lead with confidence, courage and purpose.
Pradeep Dutta, Siddharth Dogra and Suminder Kaul were also present during the event.
The event was emceed by Deepti Gandotra and Kamakshi Dewan and the vote of thanks was delivered by Varsha Bansal.
